Welcome to Parsley Makes it Fancy
Hi, and welcome to Parsley Makes it Fancy! I’m Christy (short hair) and that’s Michelle (the back seat driver.) We are two friends from Dallas who have recently started a cute little company called Scribbles n Such. Michelle is the one with the talent. I’m more of the “n Such” part of the company.
When Scribbles n Such first began, we received advice from a business consultant: “Start a company blog,” he said, “and blog about your products– nothing personal. Nobody wants to read about your personal life.” (I think he was trying to make us look more like a real company, and not like two moms flying by the seat of our pants – or in our case, flying by the seat of our fat sweats!)
We had no problem blogging about our products – they’re darling – we could talk about them all day long. And since we design and manufacture everything we sell, we have no shortage of stories about the people and places we encounter as we build our little company.
But we were dying to share a little piece of our everyday lives, so we decided to break the rules just a smidge . . .
…and we began sharing fun stories, inspirations, ideas, giggles and snorts that life tosses our way. Parsley Makes it Fancy became our blog instead of the business guy’s blog.
We are always on the lookout for the colorful little “extras” that decorate a day. If you’re the type of person who feels that little zap of happy when life is fancier than it has to be, then this blog’s for you, sister! We can’t wait to meet you and hear all about your fancy life!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the video!!!!! Way to go KAK!
Just got to visit the blog … it made me smile several times. Love the pictures above and the video, yep … it made me laugh too.
I am once again a subscriber! Hope all you Scribblers out there are doin’ mighty fine…
what’s a hot guy like you doing on a girl blog like this?
Bethany and I got a definite giggle out of your ‘What’s in a Name’ video! She especially liked the part where Madison says, “5-4-3-2-1-Blast off!” : ) It’s funny, though, Michelle, after hearing you say your name like 50 times in a row, it stops sounding like a name! Kind of like the word ‘scarf’…just say that over and over and you’ll see what I mean…:D Love you crazy girls!
Spent the evening around the computer screen laughing at you and the mail carrier and you and the pharmacist and you and the kids at the hospital…well, mostly at you
And we did forward them on – I have gotten lots of comments about my beautiful bags! Those things are simply amazing! I tried to send one with Josiah to band camp instead of his duffle, but he would have none of it. But trust me…it would have held more. OK, so it’s not the bag for high school boys – but their MOMS love them!!!
Love from the North…
